New Moon Magic – Setting intentions and visualizing the outcome

Greetings All,

New moons are exciting!

They give us fresh starts, new opportunities and spark creative thinking. We have the opportunity to grow the possibilities when we are prepared! Let’s take this opportunity and manifest our intentions!

This new moon in Virgo has me passionate about a goal I desire. I’ll be spending time throughout today visualizing my intentions into action!

We need to focus on THREE vital parts when manifesting our intentions:
Rituals – Rituals are a way to connect to our universe and have a list of actions to perform to set the tone around the intentions. When doing a ritual around each new moon, we create a mindset and focus on the goal.
Intentions – Intentions are what we are asking for and involve mental planning, forethought and commitment; they’re a mental map to our goal!
Manifesting – Manifesting is the actionable part of the mental map. The part when things are being done and moving towards the goal you decide to set

Preparing for ritual:

• Take a bath – this is to cleanse your body, ready for ritual and will help relax your body and mind
• Collect your tools – journal paper, pen, candle, incense, matches, wands and anything else you like to bring into a ritual
• Cleanse your ritual space and tools – salt, sacred smoke, or sound will lift any impurities away from your space. Do it well and don’t forget the corners 😉
• Write down your intentions – what do you want? Be very specific. To begin, write a story about what you want, write out the steps it would take to meet that goal. Then simplify it to ONE phrase or sentence. The shorter the better

Once you’ve written your intentions, take some time to visualize each action step and then say them out loud. Give declaration to the universe you’re taking action and will invest time into helping do your part in manifesting your goal.

Work to keep your energies high as the universe may take some time, but know the mountains are moving once you say your intentions out loud.
